Dr Thomas Fox

Senior GP Partner and GPSI in Minor Surgery

Dr Fox joined the practice in 1987 and is a GP with Specialist Interest in Minor Surgery and Contraception. He became a GP Trainer in 1991 and supervised his final GP Trainee in July 2021 after supporting over 60 trainees on placement.

Dr Gregor Donaldson

Dr Donaldson joined the practice as a partner in 2004 and is a GPSI in ENT and Minor Surgery. Dr Donaldson is the GP lead for prescribing, Practice Strategy, Practice Development and Finance. Dr Donaldson is a board member for Cross Gates Primary Care Network.

Dr Rachael Kay

GP Partner and GPSI for Dermatology

Dr Kay qualified as a doctor in 2003 at the University of Manchester (2003) before joining the practice as a GP Partner. Dr Kay specialises in Dermatology holds a certificate in Implant and Coil fitting. Dr Kay is a Hair Restoration Surgeon after specialising in Dermatology and working in the field of hair transplant surgery alongside her GP work.

Dr Coates joined the practice in 2014 and became a GP Partner in 2021. She is the Lead GP for our contraceptive services and works in our weekend Extended Access clinics.

Dr Younge joined the practice in 2017 and became a GP Partner in April 2025. Dr Younge is also a GP Trainer.

Dr Ben Hammersley

Dr Hammersley joined the practice in 2019 and became a GP Partner in April 2025. Dr Hammersley is a GP Trainer and leads on End of Life and he is Practice Clinical Veteran Lead. City wide roles include cancer care lead GP and deputy medical lead for the GP Confederation.

Dr Oakhill joined the practice in 2018 and is a Senior Associate GP and the GP Lead for Frailty and Care Homes. Dr Oakhill has a Post Grad Diploma in Geriatric Medicine. Dr Oakhill is also the Lead GP for Cross Gates Primary Care Network for frailty and Care Homes.

Kate qualified in 1993 and joined the practice in 2014 with over 10 years experience in General Practice Nursing. Kate completed her Non Medical Prescribing in 2017 and is the Nurse Manager. Kate is responsible for Student Nurses as a Practice Assessor. Kate leads on Qof, End of Life Care MDTs and long term conditions with a specialist interest in Diabetes. Kate is also a member of the Cross Gates PCN Board since 2023.

Greeshma qualified as a registered nurse in 2016 and joined our Nursing Team as a Practice Nurse in 2022. Greeshma is also a practice supervisor for student nurses. Greeshma is a trained vaccinator and works in the PCN vaccine clinics. Greeshma leads on Asthma and in 2025 she completed her certificate in cytology.

Lauren qualified in 2022 and started her career in Emergency Medicine having worked in Accident and Emergency before joining the practice in 2023. Lauren completed the General Practice Development Programme in March 25 and is a trained vaccinator working in the PCN vaccine clinics. Lauren is currently undertaking her certificate in cytology.

Victoria Bottomley

 Vicky joined the practice in 2016 on the Health Care Assistant Apprenticeship Programme. She started her Nursing Associate Training in 2020 at Bradford University and Qualified as a Nurse Associate in 2022. Vicky is currently undertaking her nurse training. Vicky is a practice lead for Learning Disabilities and Mental Health working closely with the GP and Pharmacist clinical Leads. Vicky is a Trained Vaccinator and works in the PCN Vaccine Clinics.

Sue joined the practice in 2015 as a Senior Clinical Pharmacist. She became and Advanced Practice Pharmacist after completing her Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Assessment with Distinction in 2020. Sue also works as Head of Clinical Pharmacy at South East Leeds Federation and PCPA Regional Vice President for North East. Sue is qualified as a Pharmacist Designated Supervisor, Clinical Supervisor and Designated Prescribing Practitioner Sue leads on Heart Failure and coordinates the pre reg pharmacist placements at the practice.

Hannah Black

Hannah joined the practice in 2016 on the Clinical Pharmacist Programme. She is a Senior Clinical Pharmacist and Leads on Mental Health and Pain Management.

Lynne Hargreaves

Senior Prescription Clerk

Lynne joined the practice in 2012 and worked as a receptionist before taking on the role of Senior Prescription Clerk. Lynn works closely with the practice pharmacists to manage the daily prescriptions and medication queries. Lynn supports the practice prescription clerks and supports training new staff.

Karen has been with the practice for 30 years and worked as a practice secretary before becoming a clinical system manager. Karen leads on secretarial administration and recalls.

Georgia Mann

Administrative Team Leader

Minor Surgery Coordinator and Safeguarding Administrator

Georgia first started at the practice doing work experience in 2018 before joining the practice in 2019 and is now the Administrative Team Leader. She completed a Business apprenticeship in 2022 and is currently undertaking NVQ Level 3. Georgia co-ordinates the Minor Surgery Service and is the Safeguarding Administrator.

Emily Dickinson

Senior Medical Administrator

Emily joined our practice as an Business Administration Apprentice in 2016 and initially worked as a Prescription Clerk. She started work as a Senior Medical Administrator in 2022 and leads on medical coding and summarising for the practice. Emily is the practice Bereavement Liaison Officer to ensure all deaths are processed and families receive any support they may need.

Janet Linely

Janet initially joined the practice in 2013 as a receptionist before training as a Data Processor. Janet is responsible for ensuring all patient correspondence is uploaded and attached to patient records.

Amy Tobin

Business Support Administrator

Amy joined the practice in June 2024 and supports the Management and Medical Administration Team with office administration. Amy processes all the registrations and ensures all our Veterans are flagged or patients requiring reasonable adjustments. Amy also manages all the medical records and deals with Subject Access Requests.

Andrea joined the Practice in 2002 and became a partner in 2015 having overall responsibility for managing and running the practice. Andrea still works clinically and is also the Clinical Director of Cross Gates Primary Care Network since 2019 and the Director of Cross Gates Primary Care Ltd.

Laura Cullimore

Business Manager

Laura joined the practice in 2010 and initially worked in admin coding, secretarial before completing her NVQ’s in Business Administration. Laura completed a leadership and management course in 2022 and is and is now the Business Manager supporting the Managing Partner to run the practice. Laura also qualified as a Non Registered Vaccinator in 2022 and supports the PCN vaccine Clinics.

Joanne Scott

Reception Coordinator

Joanne joined the practice in 2002 as a receptionist before taking on the reception coordinator role. She has a Diploma in General Practice Administration and is responsible for the day to day running of the reception team. Joanne coordinators the Reception and Care Navigators working closely with the duty doctor each day to manage patient enquiries. Joanne also supervises and trains new members of the reception team.

Julie joined the practice as a receptionist in 2012 and is a Senior Care Navigator and Prescription Clerk. Julie supports the reception coordinator to run the reception and supports training new staff.

Debbie joined the reception team in 2007 and is a Senior Care Navigator and Prescription Clerk. She has a Diploma in General Practice Administration and is the practice lead for patient records. Debbie supports the Reception Coordinator and training of new staff. Debbie has been part of the PCN General Practice Improvement Programme representing the reception team.

Andrea Mann

PCN Clinical Director and Cross Gates Primary Care Ltd Director.

Andrea was appointed as the Clinical Director for Cross Gates PCN in 2019 and is accountable for the delivery and performance of PCN services, strategy and leadership. Andrea works closely with the PCN Senior Leadership Team to develop and deliver services for the PCN population. Andrea is a board member of the Leeds GP Confederation and Director of Cross Gates Primary Care Ltd.

Stephanie Sheppard

Steph joined Cross Gates PCN in 2021 as a PCN Manager and works closely with the PCN Clinical Director on Strategy and Business Development. Steph is responsible for managing the PCN team and services. In 2024, Steph became a Director of Cross Gates Primary Care Ltd.

Sophie joined the PCN as a Care Coordinator before taking on the role as a PCN Operational and Care Coordinator Team Lead. Sophie supports the PCN Business and Development Manager and is responsible for the coordination of PCN vaccination clinics.

Beth is actively involved with Cross Gates Local Care Partnership and Dementia Services within the community. Beth is a trained vaccinator and works in the PCN vaccine clinics.

Becky joined the PCN as a Nurse Associate after working in secondary care. She supports practices in clinic and works with the PCN Frailty Team carrying out Long Term Condition reviews in Care Homes and our housebound population. Becky is also a trained vaccinator and works in the PCN vaccine clinics and due to start her nurse training in 2025.

Harpal joined Cross Gates Primary Care Network in 2020 as a Clinical Pharmacist. He completed his Non Medical Prescribing Qualification and is the Lead Pharmacist for the PCN and Advanced Pharmacist for Lipid Optimisation. Harpal is responsible for the coordinator of the PCN pharmacy team and delivery of the PCN medicine management performance.

Azaz Ali

Azaz is a PCN Clinical Pharmacists and Non Medical Prescriber. He supports practices with care home prescribing, practice medication enquiries, hospital discharge prescribing and carries out structured medication reviews for our frailty population. Azaz is also a trained vaccinator and works in the PCN Vaccination Clinics.

Haleema joined the Cross Gates Primary Care Network team in 2023 as a Physician Associate. Physician Associates are healthcare professionals working under the supervision of a senior doctor. They are trained to provide care to patients in a primary care setting, including assessing and examining patients, and agreeing a management plan with the support of their supervisor. They are not doctors, cannot prescribe medications and cannot request xrays.

Belle joined the PCN Team as a Care Coordinator and supports practices with Care Home MDTs and coordinates frailty reviews. Belle is the PCN Cancer Care Coordinator lead who supports practices with carrying out cancer care reviews.

Amy joined the PCN in 2024 and has a background in Sports and Exercise Nutritionist (SENR) and Nutritionist (AfN). Amy supports patients with weight management and devise health and wellbeing plans.
